The lip of the glass is rather deceptive. HAHA. I got confused myself when I was painting it.
I guess when drawing/painting glass, you have be very clear and crisp on where the shadows are and where the lighting is. Don't blur the edges of the glass so much that it blends with background. Keep the "lighting" sharp, no blurry smudging.
