Thanks katie wiencierz. I wanted it to be shiny...liquidy. As though freshly dipped in a hard tack, red colored, cinnamon-flavored coating. This, to me, is on the right track, but way-off from what I wanted. I love this idea: http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/candy-apples and it has pictures of c.a.'s . That's what I was hoping to get out of drawing this. I will have to retry. If you or anyone else have pointers, please share. Where's dorphic when you need him? (help--hint hint) :)
