@steph_pink <3 aw thanks =3 @Aneesha thanks.to answer your question, it's because when there is a feeder around the rufus hummer(s) gets territorial over it. The hummer bumps, chases, and squeaks at others that come near, and so, it waits and watches to see if others come around.
